Near the airport, in the heart of the shopping center, overlooking the quay with its cruise ships, the hotel is said to be ideally situated, between La Darse and the town center, claims to be just a stone's throw from the embarkation for the Saintes and Marie-Galante, and also a few streets away from the Schloecher and Saint-John Perse museums, the markets and the old wooden houses.
Regular shuttles to the islands of Marie Galante and Saintes leave from the landing stage next to the hotel. Point-à-Pitre Airport : 6 km / 3.75 mi

It is said that guests are recommended to stay here only if they have business in town or need to be here for an early morning flight (it's 15 minutes from the airport).
This hotel rises four stories above the harbor front, near the quays. The small rooms claim to be clean, simple, and furnished with locally crafted mahogany pieces. Very few units have views of the sea. Bathrooms are said to be small with no frills; about half have shower-tub combinations. Once you check in, guests claim the laissez-faire staff will probably leave you alone until the end of your stay.
There's a simple coffee shop/cafe on street level. To reach a beach, you'll have to travel 3km (2 miles) to the east to Le Bas du Fort and the Gosier area.
