Club Med La Caravelle:
This all-inclusive chain resort, covering 18 hectares (44 acres) along a peninsula dotted with palm trees, opens onto one of the beaches in the French West Indies which is said to one of the finest. The Club Med La Caravelle guest rooms tend to be small, but guests claim they have good beds. (All but 10 units have twin beds; those 10 exceptions have queen-size beds.) Tiled and shower-only bathrooms are compact and short on amenities.
The building known as Marie-Galante, within the Club Med La Caravelle contains the resort's largest rooms that staff at the hotel says are the most comfortable, (each with a terrace or veranda), costing about 25% more than the smaller standard rooms. Children are welcome, but visitors claim there are few if any, programs catering to their needs, and no babysitting services at Club Med La Caravelle. Consequently, this resort tends to attract couples and adult singles.
In 2001, the resort added an annex ("La Fête") containing only single rooms, a boon for single holidaymakers. The meals here are said to be nothing if not generous. The breakfast and lunch buffet tables full with French, Continental, and Creole food. Dinner can be served in the main dining room or in the candlelit annex restaurant beside the sea which the Club Med La Caravelle claims is more romantic.
Hotel Facilities:
Some of the Facilities the Hotel makes available to its guests are various water sport activities at the Ste Anne Beaches.
The Majority of these are jet skiing, Scuba Diving, Wind surfing and many more.

"The quality of the food was great. They do have one a la carte restaurant but I tried it once only, I prefered the buffet. The beach was beautiful, the activities plentiful. The hotel room was mediocre, we stayed in the non renovated part of the hotel, the room was very old. I would rate our room a 2 * no more. Overall I would highly recommend this Club Med."
